These guided car tours offer a slower, more intimate way to experience Artois — from battlefields and memorials to villages where history, art, and memory intersect.
Whether you choose the breezy charm of our vintage Méhari or the modern comfort of the Renault Grand Scenic, each ride is guided with care, weaving stories of courage, loss, and renewal along the way.

Remembrance Ride in Citronette

Citronette is a vintage Citroën Méhari – a jeep-style vehicle, instantly recognisable for its light design and cheerful character. This iconic vehicle offers a simple, direct way to experience the landscapes of remembrance, close to the environment itself.
Departing from the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, this 90-minute scenic drive travels through the Artois countryside, with a carefully chosen itinerary for observation, photography, and reflection, including time at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. An open-air experience well suited to those with limited time who wish to discover the essentials with care and meaning.
Please note that participants must be comfortable with outdoor conditions and able to get in and out of the vehicle independently. This experience may not be suitable for everyone.


Vimy & Beyond the Ridge
A deeper exploration of the landscapes of remembrance, from Vimy Ridge to Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. This four-hour journey travels through the rolling hills of Artois, highlighting the places, events, and memories that have shaped both Canadian and French history.
The experience includes guided commentary, panoramic views, and time for quiet reflection at several stops, particularly among the cemeteries and commemorative sites that mark the landscape.

The Premium Ride – Full-Day Experience
A full-day private journey through the great landscapes of remembrance of the First World War. From Vimy to Lorette, Cabaret Rouge & memorial sites off the beaten path, discover the symbols, stories, and artistry that define these sacred places.
The experience includes a pre-arrival orientation guide and a Poppy Picnic, prepared with local specialties and offered as a moment of pause and shared reflection within the landscape of remembrance.
The day concludes with a visit to the German Cemetery at Maison Blanche — a space for collective reflection on reconciliation and peace.

Disclaimer: Citronette is an open, jeep-type Méhari. Access to the vehicle requires stepping up to enter and stepping down to exit. Participants must be able to embark and disembark independently and without assistance. Passengers must be comfortable with exposure to outdoor conditions, including wind, sun, and light rain.
